Balanço final do desafio Fall Into Reading 2010

ATTENTION: This post will be written in Portuguese and English.

Today Winter starts which means the Fall Into Reading 2010 challenge ended yesterday.

As I suspected, I was too optimistic... Of the 5 books I planned to read I only read 2:
Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier (finish) - finished
Heat Wave, by Richard Castle
Hello, Darkness, by Sandra Brown - finished
Doctor Zhivago, by Boris Pasternak
They Do It With Mirrors, by Agatha Christie

However, I did read another book and started another (and I'm almost reaching half of it), so I think the balance of my reading this Fall is positive!

So, this is the list of books I read for the challenge:
Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier (finished)
Hello, Darkness, by Sandra Brown
Measuring the World, by Daniel Kehlmann
The Confessor, by Daniel Silva (started)

I liked them all, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Hello, Darkness. Sandra Brown is becoming one of my favorite authors. The way she intertwines romance with mistery and suspense is brilliant!

As for the books that didn't get read, I had Heat Wave ordered but it didn't arrive (but I haven't given up on it yet...), I still hope to read They Do It With Mirrors till the end of the year, and Doctor Zhivago will have to wait till next year.

The part of the challenge I liked the best (besides doing the actual reading) was answering the questions Katrina, the organizer of the challenge, placed weekly on her blog Callapidder Days.

So thanks Katrina for organizing this challenge. Next year I'll participate again, no doubt, and I'll also participate in the Spring challenge too (if I don't forget it till then, of course...).
